"Beautiful, forward-thinking, and strange beers on tap!" 

Can't really argue with the above line which was printed across the top of the beer menu at Tired Hands.  This little brewpub just east of Philadelphia specializes in farmhouse style beers and is doing some pretty creative and original brewing. 

My brother and I met here on a Friday night and had a great time sampling our way across the menu. Tired Hands offers pours in three sizes; 4, 8, and 16 oz.  Every beer we tried was great, which made it tough when it came time to choose beer to go.  If I had to rank the beers we tried the top three would be the Guillemot (a dark and sweet saison), 5 out of 5 (their incredible imperial stout) and the Lil Lady (a honey and tea grisette).  Hop Hands and Farm Hands also certainly lived up to the hype. 

In addition to brewing, the pub bakes its own bread and offers a small menu of charcuterie and panini.  We had an excellent time and were impressed with everything we ate and drank.  It's a very cool place with a slight drawback of a bit of "hipster service".  Despite that, I would recommend you go to enjoy the outstanding beer, the hip relaxed atmosphere, and see if you are able to leave without a growler.
