Before visiting Salt Lake City I had never heard of Squatters Pub. I had an hour to kill before my flight and I can say I'm really I glad that I had a chance to stop in before leaving. Located in the heart of downtown, this busy place offers solid food and wide variety of 3.2% beers on tap.
Seeing that I was an out-of-towner, the bartender directed me to the bottle list, which was loaded with higher (or regular) ABV brews. I tried their India Pale Ale and Hop Rising, which is their Double IPA. Both were great. The regular IPA was pretty outstanding stuff, a crisp balanced beer that I could see myself drinking all afternoon. Worth stopping in for lunch, but less of a beer destination for me than EPIC.
