Here's the background: 12 Bones is a seriously badass BBQ joint located in the River Arts District of Asheville, North Carolina. It's an extremely popular eatery and was the first place we stop on our recent trip to Asheville. During lunch hours, it's typical for the line to wrap outside the building across the parking lot. Everything we ate was delicious and I hear that the rotating sauces are always creative and incredible. When Obama was in town for a weekend, he ate here twice, but don't let that impact your view one way or the other. The bottom line is it was legit.
