Pisgah

Wow. Wow. And finally...wow.

What a great visit this was. A 15-20 minute drive east of downtown on Black Mountain, Pisgah Brewing was hard to find, but well worth the trip.

Of all the breweries we visited in NC, Pisgah had the most varieties and the most consistent quality across their beers.

We split to 4 beer samplers and sat outside with a small group of people on picnic tables and watched the sun go down. The fire circle in the middle of the tables made me think that this would be a great destination for a late night gathering.

The imperial IPA and Barley wine really stood out in my mind, as well as their IPA, which in my opinion is the best in AVL.
