It was an unseasonably warm and sunny afternoon in Asheville when we decided to visit the famous Green Man brewery.
Green Man was in the south part of downtown, away from the stores that line the main streets. I guess you could call it a warehouse district of sorts. From the outside the building looks like an old garage, but with an small outdoor seating area. Once through the door we found a cozy little bar and an extremely friendly bartender awaiting us in the front of the operating brewery.
They had four or so house beers and a couple guest beers on tap. We stuck to their Porter and IPA (again with the $3.00 pints) and they were simply awesome. We sat by the door soaking up the sun while drinking fresh beer and eating pretzel's. What more could we have asked for?
A highly recommended stop for anyone visiting Asheville.
